38 weeks

38 weeks with Marek


Its crazy to look at these, because with Marek my final weight was 249 lbs, I gained well over 70 pounds total with him. Where are this pregnancy with Mackenzie my weight right now is 243... and so far I have gained 45 pounds total.

Finally finished ;)

Today I was able to finish Mackenzie's blanket... And I love it ;)

Weekly OB appt

OB Friday I had another appointment. She listened to the heartbeat, measured me, weighted me & then checked my cervix.
She said I am at a 1 on the outside but not on the inside, if that makes sense. Lol
She said she hopes to see me at my next appt which is this coming Friday.
We also discussed which hospital I wanted to deliver at & also at what point she wants me to call & go in. If my water breaks & or... I have contractions that are 5 mins apart, lasting for an hour.
So far when I get contractions they have only lasted 30 mins.
I am in the process of packing bags. I packed the baby's bag yesterday. Abd then I did all our laundry. I have a few things to buy at the store And then I can pack up my bag & Mareks bag ;)
It's kind of nerve racking. Lol
But exciting too.
This week I have also gotta finish the baby blanket I have been working on & also make marek a "big brother" shirt to wear at the hospital.

Contractions??

Well today looking in the mirror I noticed something... I have dropped!!
Then tonight I made a spicy dinner.. Which led to baby moving like crazy... Which led to over 30 mins of small contractions!!!
They r gone, but I am excited for my appt on Friday to check me! ;)

Appt...

So we are down to the final stretch... I go every week now to the doctor.
Today they:
checked my size
Listened to heart beat
Talked about how I was feeling.
Also asked about maybe being able to be induced. I only asked because I am worried about what we will do with marek when I go into labor, I wish family was closer to help!!
She said that we wouldn't be able to discuss it until I was at least 39 weeks and I had to be 3 cm... Which I feel if I am 3 cm than the baby is coming on her own any ways. She said inducing me might lead to a c section and since I delivered marek vaginal that's the plan with baby #2.
I have another appt next Friday, and she said if I experience any contractions during the week than she will check my cervix at that appt & then go from there.


On other talk...
I am planning to try and taking Mareks 3 yr old photos this weekend, that way daddy can help me out & I need to take them & edit them & get his birthday stuff in order. Because I know that is one thing I don't wanna have to worry about ;)

And I finally started sewing a blanket. I will post pics soon.
I also wanted to look into making some fabric baskets that I have seen tutorials on pinsterest but we will see if that happens... If they were cheaper on etsy and I would just buy some! Lol

35 weeks

Wow... Only 5 weeks to go! I am hoping lil girl will come a few days early. Daddy's birthday would be nice? I am due the 18th.. And deon birthday is the 15th.
It seems my belly is just getting bigger & bigger!
I am feeling pretty good. Having a hard time sleeping, I will wake to go pee & then stay awake for over an hour. I guess my body is prepping for the late nights.
Next Friday starts my going weekly to my OB doctor. It's so crazy to me!
I have started a blanket for her bed.
