Boating at Centennial Park

It was really freakin HOT today so we took off and went boating. It was a lot of fun. We went with our neighbor Ed, he is a super nice guy, it was his boat. We went to the water down by the canyon, it is a really nice little place to just relax and hang out. We went into a little cove and ate lunch. Overall, a really nice and relaxing Sunday. My mom was in town this weekend, we had a BBQ on Saturday night she met all off my friends and ch
atted. It was a nice weekend. And the Boating was a really good end to the weekend.

Hippie Fest!

So, We thought we were heading to a really cool Reggae Festival in Boise, to meet up with Butch and Dillon listen to some music maybe get some food. Well, it was not what we thought it would be. It was a bunch of hippie's in the the middle of nowhere, with tents, tie dye, and and $12 dollar entrance fee. lol. the music as a whole was not great, there was over weight belly dancers, and no shade. the temp out was high 90'. nothing like Woodstock. LOL. It was nice to hang with Butch and Dillon and the new guys. We love visiting with them.

First Annual Rocky Mountain Jamboree

We had a gathering of family and friends at Lava Hot Springs Idaho over the weekend. I would say all in all it was a fairly good get together. There were about forty people that showed up for some good times and family fun.

The weather wasn't great but it was a site better than it was the last time we were there. It seemed to start off cold but by the time Monday rolled around it was fairly warm. We took in the sites and shops in the small town. If you have about an hour and a half you can get your palm read. There was a small water park which made for big fun but if it was too cold to do that then there was the hot springs to keep us toasty.

On the second day we went up to Pebble Creek to do some four-wheeling on our quads and bikes. It was a blast. It was snowing when we arrived but as it warmed our cold dirt turned into good mud. I think that our quad had about four inches of mud caked on every surface. It didn't help that Leon made it his mission to see just how muddy he could make it. ha ha

Most everyone ended up taking off on Sunday but we hung around until Monday. All in all a good trip. I do think, however, that we will be making the Second Annual Rocky Mountain Jamboree at the end of June just to be on the safe side.

My Doggies

MY DOGGIES ARE SUCH SWEETHEARTS.
Nikka and Chloe Warm your heart. They are always a welcome at the door, a kiss on the cheek and a little talk from Chloe every now and then. When you are having a tough day all you need is the girls. They always make the day brighter.-lol until we find them sitting on the couch!(nikka) lol.

South Hill Ridin.

We Went over to the South hills yesterday for a little ridin. It was a lot of fun. We saw some cows, actually we saw a ton of cows, lol. The weather was perfect . We have such a great time when we are together. There does not have to be anyone around just us.
We did a nice ride up and en
joyed the scenery, on the way down we raced each other, it was a lot of fun. Trying to the scare off the many cows and getting dirty, one of my personal favorites.
