I made these for a girlfriend whom is having twins any time now :) I cant wait to meet them

Robots...

 I made this special blanket for my a really wonderful friend of mine that I have know since I was around 5 years old. The Drakes (brittney & josh) are having a little boy next month. I am so excited for them! They are going to be awesome parents! They are naming their little man Holden ( really cute) . I really cant wait to meet the newest addition to their family. Congrats again to them!

Crafts....

 So I have been a busy busy bee among other things that are going on in my life, But i finally finished a few blankets, I did one cute lil girls one for Deon's cousin Mariah who just had a little baby girl named Keeley. We have only seen a photo of her, but she looks adorable! I also did a little Boys blanket for Deon's Best friend Leah, who just had her first little Boy Ethan. We cant wait to see photos of the little guy!

So my dear friend Nicke is so creative & wonderfully crafty... on her blog she has a tutorial for making a burp cloth and I think they make great gifts...so I tried my luck at one...I think it was so easy and turned out great...I plan on making more next week. Fall..

So Now that I have started decorating for christmas, I remembered that I took photos of some of the Fall Decor. :) Yes... I did say decorating for Christmas. This week is really my only time to get it up. We will be going to SaltLake for Thanksgiving, and then 2 Days after we get home we are heading to Reno, Nv. For Deons awards banquet. I am not looking forward to the Drive but i am looking forward to the Company. :)

Projects...

I have been wanting to do alot of crafts lately, and as u all know I finished my laudry room a month ago. I still havent finished decorating it. Here are some goals that I have...
1. Deor for laudry
2. chalk broad wall in kitchen, half way done, still need to frame it. ( pic below)
3. crib frame bench- going to make and modify into a bench with shoe storage, putting in laudry room :)
4. strip lil wooden chair, repaint and make a chair pad, for Marek's room.
5. Wall organizer-for my desk- I am determined to get that area organized.
6. work on my Papoo's Quilt, I have been cutting sqaures in my spare time :)

Below is 2 pics of the garage, I have been wanting to parking in the garage all summer, and Now I can. We reorganized a few things and put up yet another shelf over the work bench. I am so excited about it!!

And this is a pic of the 1st phase of the chalk board wall. I still need to finish it up and then I will post pictures. :)

Laundry Room Remodel!!

So.. I have been wanting to do something differant with my laundry room with a really long time, and I finally did it! It was a lot of hard work , took me 2 weeks, I mostly only worked on it while Marek was taking Naps. :) I mostly hung up beadboard and a shelf and put the washer and dryer on the pedestals. I still want to do some decorating, but havent found what I am looking for Yet... and I must say that the Photos do not do it justice! and I am so very proud of myself, I am glad that I can say that I can do it! Deon did help a little, cutting a few boards for me! Thanks Hunny! I love u! Enjoy!! I will post more pics when I am completely finished! ;) Tara

Baby Shower...

This Saturday we had a baby shower for our friend girlfriend Nicke, it is her second baby, but this time she is having a boy, so she needed a baby shower!! ( I thought :) ) It turned out really well, and we had alot of people come which was wonderful! I cant wait until her little man comes, I think she has around 20 days until Henry is here. doesnt she look good? I think so. Anyhow... Congrats Nicke!

Baby Blanket..

I have working on a quilt for our little Man and i finally finished it. It is brown, blue and green blocks. The green blocks have little elephants, monkeys and giraffes riding motorcycles, planes and cars. Really cute. The back of the blanket is cream-white, with little dots that are raised but the same color, just like the bumper and the changing table pad cover.
